Rabdi


Slowly Cooked Milk for hours with saffron and sugar,make delicious Rabri. Learn How to make it at home and enjoy!

Preparation Time: 5 min                            cooking time: 1 1/2-2 hrs
Serve: 4-5




Ingredients
  • Milk – 3 litre

  • Kewra – 4 tbsp

  • Sugar – 1/2 kg

  • Green Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp

  • Pistachios for garnishing

  • Almond for garnishing
Method
  1. Take the big pan and put some milk, the pan must be big in size,it will help to make good and perfect Rabri.

  2. Don’t put all the milk at once, Slowly its easy to control, during heating move the foam that appears on top of the milk on to a side of pan.

  3. In last part of milk add  sugar, cardamom powder and kewra and mix it well.

  4. Then, add the sweet milk  to rest of the rabri and repeat the same process.

  5. When all the milk becomes khoya form or thickens then remove from heat and leave it to cool.

  6. Garnish with chopped pistachios and almond.

  7. Serve as it is or with Malpua or Shahi Tukda.
