Pahadi paneer tikka is variation to usual tikka. It is very refreshing and green in color. It can be used as starters aor even serve with rumali roti as main course.

Ingredients
- 200 grams Paneer
- 100 grams Capsicum
- 100 grams Tomatoes
- 2 medium onions
For Paste
- 1 small cup chopped mint leaves
- 1/2 small cup chopped coriander
- 1 tsp cumin seeds powder
- 4 green chillies
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Fresh hung curd
- 1 tbsp oil
- salt to taste
Method
- Wash mint leaves, coriander leaves and grind them in the mixer with the green chillies to make a paste.
- Now mix curd, cumin seed powder. Add the green paste to the mixture and mix thoroughly. Also add lemon juice and salt to taste.
- Marinate the paneer cubes in the above mixture and keep for about an hour. Don't keep it for too long.
- Cut the capsicum , onions and tomato into squares so as to arrange them on the skewers.
- Finally,arrange the paneer cubes, onions, capsicums and tomatoes on the skewers and cook on a charcoal grill,basting frequently and adding butter as required till done. or you can also roast them in oven at 200 degree C for 20 min. Keep rotating in middle.
- Serve hot with green chutney and pickled onions.
