Coleslaw, sometimes simply called slaw in some American dialects, is a type of salad consisting primarily of shredded raw cabbage. It may also include shredded carrots.
Preparation time: 5 minutes. Serves: 4INGREDIENTS
- 4 cups Green Cabbage finely shredded
- 2 Carrot shredded
- 5 Green onion chopped
- 4 tbsp Mayonnaise ( eggless and Fat free are good options)
- 1 tsp Yellow mustard
- Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
- Mix Shredded cabbage, carrot and green onion in a big bowl.
- In another bowl mix Mayo and yellow mustard.
- Mix the above dressing to cabbage, carrot, and onions mix.
- Add pepper and salt to taste. ( Mayo and mustard contains salt so taste before adding salt).
- Cool it in fridge and Serve with Burgers, Barbecues or even hot dogs .
